WE-KO-PA HOSTS CULTURAL CHRISTMAS MARKET

On December 14th, 2024, the We-Ko-Pa Casino and Resort along with the Fort McDowell Museum and Cultural Center hosted a Cultural Christmas Market in the Atrium where several vendors sold hand made jewelry, art, traditional wares, collectibles, Indigenous made make-up, stickers, beadwork, and so much more!

“It was good to see a lot of our own people, our own local community members come in and support our Native American vendors,” Cultural Coordinator Clissene Lewis shared. If you missed the Cultural Christmas Market, don’t worry! Future markets will be taking place going into 2025. “Additionally, we’re looking at doing it quarterly, possibly monthly,” Lewis concluded.
