WE-KO-PA DONATES HUNDREDS OF TOYS TO PHOENIX CHILDREN’S

On December 19, 2025, Madam President Sandra Pattea and We Ko Pa Casino Resort General Manager Harold Baugus, stopped by Phoenix Children’s, dropping off hundreds of toys donated through We Ko Pa’s first ever Toy Drive. For the first time ever, We-Ko-Pa guests had the chance to donate a new, unused toy for ten dollars of free play at the casino.

“Hospital stays can be scary for children, so we wanted to be a part of this major effort to make the holiday season a little brighter for the kids and their families, especially during the holiday season”, said Baugus.

Phoenix Children’s is among the top 10 pediatric markets in the country. On top of some of the nation’s best health care providers, the campus along SR51 has a Toyland, where kids can choose a toy for Christmas, birthdays and any other milestone they may reach during their stay. Madam President Pattea, who is also a retired ICU nurse, had the chance to tour the facilities, including Phoenix Children’s Toyland and The Zone, an area for kids to play games and explore hobbies like music and TV. The We Ko Pa team thanks all their customers who donated and intend to make the Phoenix Children’s Toy Drive an annual effort to give back.
