UPDATES FROM TROOP 3761

Troop 3761 began the new year by participating in a major Girl Scout event in which several members earned the Mental Health Awareness patch. This achievement highlights the troop’s continued commitment to fostering emotional well-being and leadership among its members.

The troop is currently preparing for the upcoming Native American Celebration, scheduled for November 8, 2025. The event will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous troops for a day of cultural exchange and educational activities designed to promote understanding and inclusivity.

Regular meetings for Troop 3761 are held biweekly on Fridays from 5 pm to 6 pm at the H’man Shawa Early Childhood Development Center. During these sessions, scouts participate in structured programs aimed at developing confidence, teamwork, and responsibility.

Scout Leader Sherri Rodriguez encourages community members interested in joining or supporting the troop to reach out directly at (602) 248-8633. The troop also extends a warm welcome to its newly appointed Co-Leader, Desiree Lopez, whose enthusiasm and dedication will further strengthen the program’s mission and outreach efforts.

With new leadership and several key events on the horizon, Troop 3761 looks forward to another productive and engaging year of service, learning, and personal growth.
